Jackie Chan To Receive Honorary Oscar

When you are an amazingly good actor, but for some reason luck has always been against you, there still is a possibility for you to receive an Oscar.

If you don’t know who Jackie Chan is, well you seriously need to watch some action movies. The 62 year old has acted in over 150 movies and is best known for his appearances in Rush Hour, Karate Kid and Kung Fu Panda. Throughout the years he had inspired us, motivated us and made us laugh through his brilliant acting skills. In case you didn’t know, Chan is also a director and a producer.

Jackie Chan will be receiving a lifetime achievement Oscar in November along with British editor Anne V Coates, casting director Lynn Stalmaster and documentary maker Frederick Wiseman. The President of the Academy, Cheryl Boone Isaacs has described Chan and his fellow recipients  as “true pioneers and legends in their crafts”.

Chan posted a message on Facebook thanking all those who should be thanked.
